This low-cost yet powerful GPS receiver is based on the widely popular NEO-6 series of versatile GPS modules developed by u-blox.

The design includes a connector for a small battery that allows the GPS module to hot-start, as well as EEPROM for configuring
settings. To improve the standard signal reception, the design also includes an external ceramic antenna connected to the board
using a U.FL connector.

The NEO-6 module series is a family of stand-alone GPS receivers featuring the high performance u-blox 6 positioning engine
Serial UART digital-output of GPS data (UART TTL, 9600bps)
The 50-channel u-blox 6 positioning engine boasts a Time-To-First-Fix (TTFF) of under 1 second.
Power Supply: 3.3~5VDC (onboard low dropout regulator)
Compatible with various flight controller boards designed to work with a GPS module, e.g., APM2.0 and APM2.5
