G3MB-202P Solid State Relay

Description

G3MB-202P Solid State Relay is a SSR with a load handling capacity of up to 100-240V AC. The G3MB-202P Solid State Relay uses  photocoupling principle for the actuation of the relay. Solid State Relays like the G3MB-202P are faster in operation, makes no noise, and have a longer lifespan when compared to an electromagnetic relay. The relay can easily be interfaced with a micro-controller like Arduino.

Working of G3MB-202P Solid State Relay

Solid state relay works differently from Electromagnetic relays. Solid State Relays are made up of semiconductors and not mechanical parts and work by isolating a low-voltage circuit from a higher voltage circuit with the help of optocouplers. As per the basic working of an optocoupler, whenever the control input is given to the Solid State Relay, the internal LED lights up and produces a light signal which is received by a photosensitive semiconductor which then converts light energy into electrical energy and switches the circuit.
